When I first heard the project Meg had lined up I was pretty skeptical. I mean think about it…tie die with little kids….no bueno. But it turned out to be soooo much fun and the shirts came out awesome! Makes me want to dust off my disc golf skills.
I love to capture life’s precious moments and get caught up in the beautiful intricacies of weddings. It’s your once in a lifetime event that makes you feel like royalty and is the start of your fairy tale.
I want to capture those moments between the kisses and the smiles where true emotion and true life live. I want to capture real smiles, real love and real emotion.

The oldest of the little ones had her first day of preschool and was WAY beyond stoked to go. It amazes me how much information she can retain. I am in awe learning about all that she did. As soon as I walk in the door the floodgates open and at a million words a minute a little 4 year old fires off all that she did. What a blessing.
How about Mr. Mischievous…
nuts…video down
I’ll re-upload it tomorrow. Sorry folks
Producer: Blake Edwards
Editor: Blake Edwards
Camera: Neal Slimick, Jacob Lewis
Myself along with the talented Blake Edwards and Jacob Lewis were charged with documenting Charlotte Fashion’s Night Out last week and if I do say so myself we KILLED it! We had a great time working with some amazing people. If you get some time next year check it out. I had a few chances to take some stills between shooting video for HalogenTV I’ll hopefully have a video up in the next week or so when Blake has been editing.
I had the amazing opportunity to be a part of Julie and Steven’s wedding day a few weeks back in Cherryville NC. As you all know North Carolina summers have been EXTREMELY hot but thankfully someone was looking out this day. It was a gorgeous, overcast, cool..ish day. I have known Julie and Steven for almost a year now and it was an absolute pleasure shooting with them all day. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!
So my full time gig is working for a television network called Halogen. I am a producer and editor 9-5 but am blessed with the opportunity from time to time to go out and shoot some pictures. Tamara and I spent an hour at Cupcrazed in Baxter Village getting some head shots since (long story short) she had to star in the show she was producing. All I can say is WOW. Not only do they have amazing cupcakes but the place is beautifully designed. If you ever get some time and are in the area you HAVE to stop in! Their Oreo cupcake will cure any sweet tooth.
Vacationing with kids is quite an adventure, and I wouldn’t really call it much of a vacation, it’s more like living somewhere else for a week because after you have children there is no such thing as rest. I jokingly said on the way home I was ready to start my vacation on Monday, meaning that I got to get back to the office and work. Either way we had a great time as you can see below.

Jennifer was up bright and early to catch some beautiful morning light. Not only was she up before the sun came up she arrived in her dress! We had a great time and were blessed with a beautiful cool morning. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Drew and Amanda are a totally rad couple who are expecting their first child soon…..very soon. We were blessed with some beautiful weather and decided to take advantage of it, spending some time at Freedom Park and the South End area.
